1. What we collect

This is a content-only journal: there is no shop, account, cart or payment. We collect only: the email address you give us if you subscribe to the newsletter, and basic, privacy-friendly analytics (pages viewed, approximate region) to understand what readers find useful.

2. Why we use it

The newsletter email is used only to send you the journal. Analytics are used only to improve the writing and the site. We send the newsletter only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime with one click.

3. Who we share it with

Only what’s needed to run the site: our email newsletter provider (to deliver the newsletter) and our hosting and analytics providers (to operate and measure the site). We do not sell your data, and we run no third-party advertising trackers.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics and do not use advertising cookies. We do not track you across other sites.

5. Security & retention

We take reasonable safeguards to protect your data and keep it only as long as needed for the newsletter and to meet legal requirements.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time as required under the DPDP Act, 2023.
